Roger Walter is currently the Lead Pastor of the Adventist Community Church in Vancouver, WA, USA (www.AdventistCommunity.church). He has pastored some of the fastest growing churches in the NAD as a small church district, contemporary church plants, and now a multi-staff large church of over 1,000 people. He has spoken for Campmeeting’s, pastors’ meetings, and more. Roger holds a doctorate in preaching from Andrews University. He and his wife have 8 children and a growing bevy of grandchildren. They enjoy hiking, skiing, water sports, photography, staying in shape through jogging, walking, lifting weights or working in the garden. Roger’s two primary passions are: 1) reaching lost people with the message of the gospel and 2) helping them set their roots down via a personal devotional life. He’s the author of three books: Evangelism Intelligence: Why Adventist Churches Grow Differently, Learning Life and Matthew Asks Why.
